Use the switch kit on an old SL-20 and now it works fine - recharging the unit and activating the switch to illuminate 20,0000 candle power of bright white light
Pros: The Switch Kit does work in the original 1st generation light units
Cons: need specific tools and fingere dexterity to do the repairs with the swictch kit
