Wrong description - Streamlight Tailcap Switch for Jr. Flashlights, original model

This is not for the Original Model! I have many of the original model that have the rubber switch that you click on/off with no guarding. I also have many of the new design that has a small rubber nipple that is guarded by a metal body. This switch cap is the new design. It is has female threads where as the origianl had male threads. The problem with the original model is that the rubber cover came off easily and the internal parts went missing or broke. The new design is much better with a guarded switch. I thought since the original model had this known defect and this part is listed as the original model replacement that streamlight recognized that there was a design flaw and this was the fix. Wishfull thinking on my part. I now have two replacemnt caps for my new model which by design shoudln't fail like the original model. Please buy with caution!
Pros: Is a fine replacement part for the wrong flashlight
Cons: Doesn't work on Original Model
