Easy install, works well… - Streamlight Tl-Racker Shotgun Forend LED Light

Product arrived very quickly (seven days). Attached to my old Mossberg 500. Had a little trouble with the Action Slide Tube Nut; it kept cross threading, making me think the Grip-light was defective and prevented the nut from marrying up. I took the SL Grip off, then cleaned and lubed the threads on the tube and the nut. Had to rotate the nut counter clockwise till I felt a click, then turn the nut by hand slowly keeping it level. It took a few tries, but eventually threaded on and made a tight connection.

The grip feels good in my hand (large hands), and the light was easy to manipulate with the exception of differentiating between constant on and pinch/ release on but not a big deal for home defense, could be a problem for a professional clearing room to room as a light ND would compromise the team.

Light makes for easy aiming in a home defense scenario. Shotgun cycles perfectly with the Streamlight Grip. Have not fired it yet, but will write a follow up review if light fails anytime soon.
