More than a light, but... - Streamlight TLR-1 Game Spotter Green LED Gun Light for Game Tracking

I could see and identify to about 250 yards, not 350 meters. I could see "eyes" way past 250 but not enough to clearly ID a varmint, and certainly not adequate for a shot. When I first used the light to illuminate a group of hogs with young at about 65 yards, they instantly spooked and disappeared into the brush. Light was too bright reflecting off of trees and brush. Same effect on other loner boar hogs at 80 yds. Green is just not their color here in S. Tx. At 125 yards hogs were not disturbed by the green. My horse see the green too. Coyotes do react a bit to this green up close, but are not disturbed by it. Works well for me there.

I now use the green light handheld to scan over the ranch. Then go to a red lamp or night vision for business. Thinking about adding the light to a 223 for a coyote rig.
