TAC DAD's Review of Streamlight TLR-1 HL High-Lumen Weapon Light
I used this in a 2 day pistol class. It was dropped onto concrete from 6 feet. NOT A SCRATCH OR BLEMISH!!
Very easy controls to use. Strobe with a double push either constant or temporary light.
For a few more dollars this one is DEFINITELY the one to get over the TLR-1s.
Very bright 630 lumen will still be bright when the battery starts to runs dry
Body can gets hot but I have not experienced that. Levers will not get hot.
Install and remove in seconds without a tool. So having to take it off to replace batteries is no big deal. Battery compartment latch is very secure.
It is the same size a the TLR-1s so no need to change gear.
Time will tell how long it will last but for now,
