Fantastic light that punches above it's price. The light beam is stunning (literally, I got strobed by it by my girlfriend by accident, it gave me a headache). It looks goofy on the end of a pistol and does not have enough clearance from my Sig Silencer on my G22, but that's alright.

In my working life, dependability and confidence in equipment is of paramount importance. I purchased one back when they were brand new for my work rifle.

No complaints. Perfect sized weapon light for rifle/shotgun. It really lights up a room, and carries out clearly for quite some distance. I’ve had occasion to detach it and use it as a handheld light when my Stinger runs out of power. It’s been dropped, nearly submerged, run through the mud (it rains here a lot), sat out with me in sub-freezing temps for over an hour (even had a little icicle hanging off of it, the light not me), was nearly too hot to touch in the blazing heat of a late summer day, covered with so much dust and pollen it was hard to figure it was not camouflaged, yet functioned flawlessly in each circumstance when I’ve needed it.

Why am I replacing it? My agency decided to get some low bid craptastic CR123 batteries. Right out of the box only a few actually worked. Others self-immolated and shorted out in spectacular fashion for no rhyme or reason. Sadly my TLR HPL was one of the victims.

The good news? I now have a new one in its place courtesy of Optics Planet and an agency reimbursement.

Love this it’s so convenient . Should have purchased more of those a long time ago. I use it in my side by side to coyote hunt . It’s super convenient out in the field. Mated up with the Streamlight waypoint light, it makes a perfect combo

Excellent light from factory but even better with Oslon White LED Upgrade. Sturdy build quality too. Light come with cells and is ready to go. Light is not as tough build as Surefires but it works and keeping weight down comes handy.

Optics Planet has good prices and this weapons light was shipped quickly, however the light is not durable and the battery closure breaks easily. This purchase was a replacement light and I did not want to re-do my weapons set-up so it was easier to just replace it.

Excellent tactical light that provides unsurpassed reliability and performance. High lumen output that illuminates the target area well beyond expectations. Easily and readily mounts in minutes. Accessory switch is reliable and works far better than other manufacturers on a continuous basis, without failure or replacement. Highly recommend to those looking for a reliable light that exceeds expectations.

I purchased this flashlight on someone else's recommendation. This flashlight is bright enough to light up an entire room and blind anyone you shine it on. It is made of a rugged aluminum material and is very light weight compared to competitor flashlights. The installation was easy and the screw can be set with a coin so you don't have to worry about stripping it out like the cheaper ones. This also allows the light to stay tight on your rifle and not fall off. Light is also made in the USA

This light was everything I had hoped it would be. Tuff durable, looks great and the 750 lumin is brighter than my nitecore 1000 lumin light. Optics Planet's price was good and received it somewhat quickly. The only thing I do not like is the funky way you have to twist the tail cap while pulling on it to take it off and put it back on. What were they thinking? Regardless, it's not enough of a disappointment to ding it a point. I would give it 4 and 3/4 stars.

I mounted the newly purchased Streamlight TLR-1S HP on my Sig AR-15. Night became day thru my 1 to 6 power scope. My expectations for the light were definitely fulfilled. Thanks very much Optics Planet for super service !

It has a very bright and focused beam. I was able to get a good sight picture through an unlit reticle scope at close to 200 yards with this light. The only down side is that it must be mounted at the very end of the rail. The front lens is too big to mount behind the front of your rail system. Still definitely worth the money.
