Nice thought, poor execution - Streamlight TLR Battery Door / Switch Assembly

bought to replace original on tlr-1. sometimes when grabing rifle fm. rack i would trigger light in my face. wanted a "safe off" feature. on this modification the sw. lever is short and pointy. jabs into thumb, unlike the wide pads on original. with the stubby lever you have to feel your way around the batt. door to locate switching positions and they are difficult to operate. also the supplied gasket was way too thick to allow latching of batt. door.
