Put this buffer spring in an AR9 (SBR) build with a DTT FTR. Flat wire spring was recommended as part of the “Gentle Recoil System”. Ran flawlessly.
Pros:
- Runs quieter than a traditional spring.
Cons:
- Tight fit over my Kynshot hydraulic buffer. Not as easy to install or remove past the buffer retainer pin.
Best Used for:
- Getting rid of the spring noise in buffer tube.
