G5 mass driver - Strike Industries G5 Mass Driver Compensator

I've been a competitive shooter for many years now and have used many different types of compensators, some good, some not so much. I had my doubts about this Mass Driver but took a chance and installed it on my gen 5 Glock 17. Took 400 rounds of 9mm to my local range and loaded it up. To my surprise, this Mass Driver worked way better than any of my other compensator! The feel of the recoil is weird at first but once you get used to it, give it 50 or so rounds, it WORKS like a charm! Works flawlessly and reduces felt recoil by a lot and it's much quicker to stay on target with follow up shots. Somehow, the muzzle just stays level during rapid fire drills. Now, the price. Others I use are $120. to $180 for just the comp. Then $275. for a threaded barrel. Optics Planets price was $86 and I didn't have to purchase a threaded barrel...and it works better than the expensive ones. It installs in minutes and the loctite dries over night. This was by far the very best Glock upgrade I've ever done. I would highly recommend it and hopefully, in the near future, Strike Industries will offer this gem for many other models and other pistols.
