Depends on intended use - Strike Industries G5 Mass Driver Compensator

This compensator is a great idea if you don't want to spend the extra bucks on a threaded barrel, but running one of these really depends on your intended use. It's a nice and economic addition to a range gun for your practice when shooting at targets and it works. But would not recommend running one of these on a daily carry gun. I installed one on a 19X. It's heavy and adds nearly 2" to the overall length of the pistol. Additionally, the device does not draw smooth from the open bottom Kydex holster that holds my 19X. Again, it's nice for range days, not for EDC.
