These magazines need to be assembled. Assembly is easy. It is difficult to get 15 rounds in when new. I'm sure that will become easier when the spring relaxes a little. They are smokey but clear enough to see your ammo. They have a strange feel to them. I did have trouble with 9mm 147 grain flat point. Everything else worked great. Ultimately for the price they are good. Probably not as good as other brands.
