These are trash - Strike Industries Extended Magazine Plate for Heckler & Koch VP9

I purchased two of these to go with my VP9 magazine. After getting no guidance or instructions on how to install them from the manufacturer or packaging, I followed along with a YouTube video to ensure that I did it properly. It would have been nice if perhaps the company had directions on how to install them. Nevertheless after installing these one magazine was able to load only 1 additional round to 18 rounds the other magazine was able to load the 22. After trying to download the magazine with 22 rounds in it, like the plus five advertises, the spring was stuck. I removed the rounds from the magazine and tried to carefully dislodge the spring from whatever it was stuck on. The spring snapped open breaking the magazine that cost $50. These cheap plastic parts are terribly designed and should not be sold for firearms. This mistake from strike industry could cost people their lives. If I had assumed that the magazine would work as advertised and needed my firearm in an emergency it would have failed to function the way that it should have.
