Dave-in-Texarkana's Review of Strike Industries CZ P-10 F Magwell
They don't allow pictures in reviews unfortunately. They don't really provide instructions, but the product video shows a guy just popping it on after grabbing the front of the grip and snapping the back on. On mine, there's no way to do this even if you have a gorilla grip. This fits tight all the way around, no gaps which is good, but I had to use a small armorer's hammer to 'beat' it on to the back - in doing so it shaved off to small slivers on both sides of the back of the grip - I have pictures.
That said, I also took the roll pin out and pulled off the backstrap (listing says you can't use the large, I have the medium on) and press fit it into place, but then it does have a front lip and would not stretch over the front of the grip, and the video shows the opposite for application as above.
Once on I tried two different magazines I have for it, both 20rnd and one with an extended base plate - that last worked best though they both inserted and locked in. The normal base plate one was a tighter fit and did not let a round be picked up the first time. After working the insertion through the magwell a few times, both magazines started working. I think the extended base plate must be a slightly smaller diameter in some direction, I did not bother to micrometer it) and it fit all the way in a bit easier at first.
This is all polymer except the retention screw. Funny, they include blue locktite on that screw and specify 10 ft/lbs on a 'red stop card' in the package (also include an allen wrench - a nice touch for the price - it's 2.5mm) specifying these things. I don't think 10 ft/lbs is realistic for a metal screw into polymer so I just tightened it up to very snug so I didn't strip it out. The mating surface on the magwell for the screw is thickened to a smooth flat spot and the screw head mates up to it well - better than the other metal one I put on the P-10C.
I think for the price this is a fair buy and glad I bought it - just the too tight fit on installation and 'shaving' the grip some caused the one star reduction.
