Alan's Review of Strike Industries AR Multi-Angled Pistol Grip

I'm a 1st time AR user. Intermediate shooter in Pistol and PCC wanting to add rifle to club matches. Did not like the Mil-spec Magpul 25 degree Mil-spec grip that came with my AR. Happy with my CZ Scorpion 3+ grip which is more vertical so I knew that I wanted a more vertical grip. Also, wanted to know which grip angles worked better for upright off body, prone, tripod/barrier, etc using LPVO which inherently has less forgiving Length of Pull/eye relief than a Red dot. Was confused with so many choices out there including other adjustable grips. With the Strike Industry grip was able to find that 10 degrees works great for me upright off body shooting. Haven't figured out prone/barrier shooting yet so some future adjustment might need testing. That's the real utility of this grip, infinite angles between 10-35 degrees. Might not work as my permanent grip because it's not as tight as a fixed angle grip due to slight play which I assume is in the adjustable bolt feature. Definitely a nice testing tool if you're searching for your comfort angle, but not might not work for you permanently if you prefer your grip tight without rattle. But once you determine the best grip angle for you, then choosing your permanent grip becomes easier from the many excellent choices out there.
Pros:
  • Infinite adjustable angles between 10 to 35 degrees
Cons:
  • Not as tight as a fixed grip
  • Can work as a permanent grip if you don't mind some wiggle.
Best Used for:
  • Testing various grip angles
  • First time AR users unsure of their preferred grip angle.
