Kief's Review of Strike Industries BUIS II Sidewinder
I, just like a bunch of people bought these thinking "I'll be able to make them work." Not the case at all. Unfortunately they are made incredibly well, except for the depth of the "holding tooth" on the screw down side. The only way they will work is with 1913 risers, which then negate the co-witness ability. Take the advice of others & don't waste your time having to ship them back.
Pros:
- Made extremely well
Cons:
- Won't fit any rail without rasing the 1913 rail.
Best Used for:
- Sitting on a shelf until Strike Ind fixes the depth of the screw side
