Constantly battling fouling - Strike Industries Sig Sauer P365 Slide

This slide seems to use cheap metal and I'm skeptical of the quality of the cerakote finish. I live in a hot humid area and this has to be disassembled and cleaned weekly to keep ahead of the rate it wants to rust. If I miss a week I'm usually having to hit it with a brass brush attachment on my Dremel. I would steer clear. I missed the OEM refund window or I'd have returned for a full refund. I didn't catch that the underside of the slide, at the barrel and recoil spring openings and along the slide rails had started rusting.
