Well thought-out design - Strike Industries Ambidextrous Safety Selector Switch

Upon my initial install, the safety was extremely stiff, but the stiffness had nothing to do with the design of the safety. After trimming a few coils off the spring, the action was like butter! The safety also gives you 3 configurations: left, right, and ambidextrous. It is also designed to allow switching the throw action between 90 degrees and 60 degrees. I have mine setup in 90-ambi. I really didn't how special this safety was until I built two more rifles that used different safeties. That's when I realize what a superb product this really is. My favorite feature is the dual-paddle throw. Most safeties have a single lever throw, so it requires either push or a pull, which must be accomplished with different fingers. With this safety, you can push high or push low which makes it so much easier to actuate. I love the easy installation and disassembly too! The center screw is just so much easier to deal with compared to other systems. Once you start using this, you will never want to go back to any other style safety.
