PDW Stock....NOT A BRACE
This is an excellent build for an SBR. Light, attractive, and durable. Several other reviews have said this is an option for a Pistol build...IT IS NOT. This is classified as a stock, and therefore should only be used on a rifle of 16" barrel length or an licensed SBR. If you put this designated stock on a pistol, you will be in violation of the law. Strike Industries specifically makes a Brace using the exact same design (https://www.opticsplanet.com/strike-industries-viper-pdw-2-position-stabilizer-brace.html) and if you are building or have an AR Pistol, unless you intend to Form 1 it,...

well made, sleek and stylish
Very well made, spring action works great. Button to release spring action could be a little better. Overall cool compact stock

Strike Industries Does it Again. 10 out of 10!!!
The stock is another great product from strike. The build quality, design, weight are all excellent. But what terrible is I had to return it because it didn't fit around my "modified" receiver. I am disappointed, but on that note Optics Planet customer service and return policy is top notch.

More cool than practical
This is a cool little stock, that looks nice and is fun to 'depoly', and I really enjoy it and it works great. However, it is heavy and quite short even when extended.
Pros:
- Looks cool
Cons:
- Heavy
Would recommend: Yes
fully collapsed its about the same length as a mil spec buffer tube
As the title suggests, when fully collapsed the stock saves you may be an inch compared to normal buffer tube; with the trade off of the price, weight, multiple stock positions and stock comfort that you would get from a mil spec option. If you have a specific SBR build in mind, by all means it works and it has a strike spring out of the box that runs great with mil spec BCG’s (will not cycle lightweight BCG’s properly without an adjustable gas block) but for the price I would recommend going for something a bit more compact and versatile
Pros:
- looks pretty cool
Cons:
- Heavy
- Expensive
- Long
Best Used for:
- sbr builds

Does what it is designed to do
Very cool and light. Stock extension is a little sticky, just a tad smaller than I thought it would be, but very well designed Anything but a milspec grip will cover the QD slot for slings.
Best Used for:
- CQB
