It is perfect for my need. I have the pad in a cloud defense mount and the scout mini mounted on the m-lol rail. If I want to switch it to my Mk18 I just disconnect the tape switch from the light and move the scout to the picatinny rail and activate the light with the button on the tail cap. Solid build and connection. I’m happy.
