Surefire ep 6 earplugs, well worth the money. - SureFire EP6 Signature Series Hearing Protection Earpieces, Black, 1 Pair

I recently bought Surefire EP 6 Signature Series earplugs, and I think they work great. I wear them under my Peltor electronic hearing protectors which are only rated NRR 19. I'm a competitive defensive pistol shooter and repeated, long term exposure to gunfire is a growing concern for me as I get older. The Surefire EP 6 earplugs increases the NRR rating of my Peltor's by 9 with the stoppers open, so I'm benefiting with a combined hearing protection of NRR 28. Most electronic hearing protectors that offer this level of protection would cost several hundred dollars more. Surefire EP 6 earplugs at Optics Planet was less than $14. What a bargain. Some may say you can't put a price on your hearing. Well I can, I'm protecting my hearing well for less than $14 bucks.
Pros: Well made, easy to use, significant hearing protection.
Cons: None that I can find.
