Friday special - SureFire Warcomp Flash Hider w/Suppressor Adapter

Surefire has a reputation for unmatched quality and execution in manufacturing their products. The WARCOMP 762 I received is almost comical how bad the machining, finish, and DLC are. There are burs on the threads, the prongs are all dinged up, the circumference of the flash hider by the ports has horizontal machining marks all across the body. The cutouts for a wrench were also left deburred and covered in swirls. This is unacceptable QC, whomever passed this to be DLC coating was either blind or simply did not care. The DLC was also improperly setup or the part was not prepped appropriately. The finish is very uneven with rough patches and light and dark spots on the exterior. I have several BCG’s with the same DLC coating and they all look uniform except for the inner workings of the BCG. At this point, I have had to warranty several weapon lights from them and am beginning to wonder if Surefire is living off its ONCE earned reputation. I know of several other shooters with problems, the bulletproof quality is just not matching up with what your getting from a Surefire product. Their customer service has never apologized once for the inconvenience or month long return process. Not even a shirt or sticker to make amends, after spending your money for a top tier product only to receive sub par customer service with a sub par product. I am a no go with Surefire, they can hype their facilities all they want on social media. I am not buying the internet hype anymore, with so many other options from SOLGW, Dead Air, OSS, ETC...
