The WAD's Review of Swampfox Arrowhead LPVO 1-10x24mm Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)
I purchased the 1-10x Swampfox LPVO installing it on my CZ BREN 2Ms carbine, replacing my Vortex 1-8x LPVO.
The extra 2x power and included power throw lever make getting on target from CQB to 450+ yards or more, depending on application, improving hit consistency. .
The included lens covers are solid and see through covers would be an improvement in my opinion.
I found the green illuminated reticle with built in aiming points for various fixed distances out to 800 yards very worthwhile. Being able to quickly adjust the power with the included throw lever is a benefit to quickly changing targeting distances.
Then there is the illumination turret which has off position between every brightness setting including the two night vision settings. This is awesome because you don't need to rotate the illumination turret more than 1 click to turn it on or off. Thats a time saver and gets the illumination on or off quickly with less effort required.
I highly recommend this LPVO and I am going to outfit more of my various carbines with this Swampfox. I will be buying at least 4 more for my SIG 555 SWAT's, IMI pre-89 Galil AR rifles, and my AR M4 type rifles and 11" barreled AR pistol. I also see myself putting one of these on my DSA para FAL & Springfield M1A 18" Scout rifle on a receiver mount.
