I had never heard of Swampfox before looking through my buddies 1-10x. I was impressed enough to buy the 1-8x for my .450 Bushmaster AR build and have no regrets. Only took 4 shots to sight-in and I have every confidence that the locking turrets will hold zero. The sight picture is bright through all magnification ranges, and clear enough in 95° SoFl heat to shoot the same spot until you're bored
