Robert's Review of Swampfox Kentucky Long 5-30 x 56 mm Rifle Scope 30 mm First Focal Plane (FFP)
I have just installed a Swampfox Kentucky Long Tactical 5X30X56 mm Riflescope and took it to the range today, 19 Sept. 2020. Zeroed the rifle, a DSA-LR10, by first boresighting it at 50 yds with 168-grain match bullets of Serbian manufacture. The first-round at 50-yards impacted 8" low at the centerline of zero. Placed two more rounds that would be covered by a dime. Moved to the 100-yard target and had to come up 3-minutes where I placed three rounds that again could be covered by a dime at dead center. The optics were very clear and the focus from the 50-yard to the 100-yard was excellent as I experienced the 100-yard focus to land on the 100-yard mark of the focus adjustment and that alone is almost unheard even with some high-end scopes that I have.
All and all, I highly recommend this Colorado Manufactured optic to anybody who wants to save money and have a high-end optic at a bargain price. I am planning on a second such optic for my 300 PRC as the reticle, MOA is a sharp and finely etched reticle for long-range tactical work.
As a long-range shooter for tactical reasons, I highly recommend this scope, if you can hold the rifle to enjoy the accuracy to be experienced. I do however recommend zeroing with a Lead Sled and then practice on your hold.

Pros:
- Excellent Clarity and adjustment.
Cons:
- I need more field time to make any such negative comment should a negative be experienced.
Best Used for:
- Tactical and hunting.
