Kingslayer; great mini reflex for a 45 degree offset - Swampfox Kingslayer 1x22mm Micro Reflex Red Dot Sight

I purchased this mini reflex for a 45 degree offset Midwest Industries mount paired with a 1-6x LPVO scope on my 14.5 AR15 carbine. I was disappointed with the speed of 1x on the LPVO for CQB after using a Hologram optic for years. After researching my options I decided on this 45 set up. Took a chance on this newer Swampfox MRDS at a good price. The 50,000 round Warranty and good battery life helped to make my decision easier. This Kingslayer was the solution to my disappointment. It is a fast acquisition from low/high ready or from scope to MRDS. The dot is daylight BRIGHT in full summer sunlight. One improvement for the sight would be to have a tighter brightness adjustment from the default turn on setting to the next brighter setting. The default turn on is indoor visible and the next setting up is low outdoor visible which is much brighter.

Sight in was not bad but I could not feel clicks and adjusted by slight turns to achieve zero at 50m. I have put about 400 rounds through it mainly CQB distances but did shoot out to 300m on 18 inch steel without missing. I am very happy with this Sampfox Kingslayer.
