I added the Kingslayer to an ultralight build. Mounted it at a 45 for up close & personal. It does the job just perfect ! With its mounting options ya can’t beat it for the price ! I’m planning to get another one. The only thing Swampfox could do better is have the nice protective cover fit a lot tighter. A Heck of a nice product and an awesome addition to the build.
Pros:
- Awesome project at a great price!

Used the swampfox king slayer on a modded G22 gen3 .40. Holds zero after many rounds. A little wider than your average Red dot so I wouldn’t put it on a slimmer sized slide. But on the G22 frame it fits and looks great. Very easy to install. I like the side battery insert as well.

Great red dot for the price. The only thing I do not like is the auto power down after 4 hours. This feature would make more sense if it had a “shake wake” ability.
Cons:
- auto turn off after 4 hrs

The sight appeared to be used with scratches on the metal plate on the bottom. The included screws did not include the ones I needed for my glock MOS adapter mount. I had to buy the 20$ replacement screws kit to get the ones I needed. Kind of a bummer for my first purchase from optics planet.

Phone ordered the red circle dot with picatanny mount. Order taker was great, but when shipped received the sight without the mount. (Mount is the third item on package contents). Optics planet is having the vendor Swamp Fox rectify the issue. It’s been a little over a week, optics planet has sent an email regarding they are still working on it but still no word from swamp fox
Pros:
- Looks to be a quality red dot
Cons:
- Waiting for mount
- waiting for mount so not able to use

So does anyone else’s Kingslayer have a reticle that is huge??? Like fills up the glass huge? Well mine does, I go to adjust it and the screws strip super easy. It’s not usable at this point. I’ll never get money back but I learned a lesson.

I own both the Sentinel and Liberty, and compared to those two, I'm no fan of the Kingslayer with green circledot. I purchased this optic with intentions to mount it onto the Ruger Mark IV picatinny, and did, but I quickly realized that this was not a great setting for it. With this particular model extended out to arms reach, the outer circle expands and begins to touch the very outer edges of the 22mm glass. Not a huge issue so long as I could remain perfectly still, otherwise the outer circle "falls off" the outer edge, which leaves a distracting view of dissappearing and reappearing segments of the outer circle. I moved the optic onto a rifle and the problem was resolved. The closer the optic is to your eye, the smaller the reticle, thus the more open the glass is. All in all, I now feel that the the main thing that this particular model has going for it is the battery tray. I do recommend the green circle dot model, but only for a rifle or shotgun.
Pros:
- Battery tray
- outer circle
Cons:
- Limited uses
- also the outer circle
