I use this system exclusively on my tripod mounts. The security is great and the fact that you can interchange your system quickly and efficiently is a real plus.

I even use on on a rifle rest that now attaches to my tripod in the field for a very good rifle rest at any position.
Pros: excellent magnetic strength
Cons: none
