This is the best "general purpose gear bag" I have ever found . . . and I don't make that statement lightly.
Between outdoors, emergency activities and preparedness, I've fooled around with different bags for a couple decades.
This one is tough, well-constructed, decent sized for "general purpose gear" (radios, ammo, small binocular, first aid and survival supplies, etc).
Unlike a lot of range bags, this one is not loaded with a bunch of padding. For some needs, that may be OK but it often winds up taking up a fourth of the space in the bag!
I would have liked to have seen a couple of map/document pockets and, of course, any given bag may be too big or too small for a given person's needs, but the general quality and construction of this one is tops.
Pros: Tough and well designed
Cons: Could have used some small "document" pockets
