I am no gunsmith. But with this kit and directions was quickly able to disassemble my remington 870 and convert it to a tactical shot gun. I added the barrel shroud and looks fantastical. Had several people comment on how well it looks. Parts are plastic and metal where metal is necessary. Seriously, even the most mechanically challenged and quickly and easy convert their gun
