It's a detent pin - TacFire AR-15 Buffer Detent Pin w/ Spring

Detent pin came nicely finished. I've seen some detent pins come in that were still usable but a little out of round, this one was perfect and gave me no problems sliding in with the spring. I think I had more problems getting the take down pin spring behind the buffer tube plate to go into place than I did with this.
