Good bones, bad finish - Tacfire AR15 Ultra Slim KeyMod Free Float Hand Guard w/Detachable Rails

This is a well made and designed handguard but it suffers from a poorly applied finish. When I unpacked the HG and began to put it on my rifle the finish flaked off in two places. My guess is that the surface was poorly prepared prior to application. I contacted the manufacturer via email and explained the situation and asked if there was a product that could be used to touch up the flaked areas. That was several days ago and they never responded. With a more durable finish this would be a 5 Star item.
