Remington 870 stock, but...... - Tacfire Remington 870 Stock Kit/M4 Style Stock

This is made for a Remington 870. I have a NEF Pardner Protector which is supposed to be a clone of the 870. I got it and it didn't fit because the NEF trigger guard was just a bit wider than the slot in the stock. BUT since it is some kind of plastic, I broke out the Bubba Universal Home Gunsmith's Tool (Dremel tool) and in less than a minute with a few passes on both sides of the grip with a grinding stone and a tap with the mallet, it fit like it was made for it. A little bit of a difference in height between the stock and the receiver but that is more cosmetic than functional and is no big deal to me. You do have to do a bit of acrobatics to get the stock screw aligned with the receiver, but once it is started, no problem tightening it up. One minor problem I had with it was the adjustable stock was kinda loose on the buffer tube giving it a bit more of a wobble than I like, but I had some plastic sheet stock and made a shim and tightened it up to feel like a regular M4 stock. Ordered it on the 2nd and it wasn't shipped until the 24th, which seemed a bit long to me for something that was listed as "in stock" but I wasn't in a big rush anyway. The NEF Pardner is made in China by Hawk Industries (Norinco) so with the aforementioned Bubba work, it will fit on those too. I bought it for a knock around truck gun, not a lot of bells and whistles but it is a really rugged little shotgun.
