This product is well made and worth every dollor it cost.
I have custom made 1911's and the rails have been lapped to fit the original slide. I did Find that the slide rails were tight on my guns, but that was minor. Even with custom guns, the conversion fit well and worked in itself with a few boxes of ammo fired through it.
I use CCI 22 40 grain HV and haven't had a single issue.
This convertion can be used even on custom guns, thats great as you wouldn't want to alter your gun to fit a conversion slide.
I haven't used it with a stock frame, so I can't say how that work. But if a custom gun works fine, a stck gun will work better.
