After a while, a proficient shooter can use one finger to press the release and allow the mag drop free. But you have to remember which way the flipper moves to drop the magazine and if you are doing this one handed, the empty mag is usually falling to the dirt. The Tactical Solutions mag release allows for the shooter to use the pinky finger of the trigger hand to flip a lever and drop the empty mag. The lever conforms nicely to the trigger guard and gives excellent leverage, it takes just a few ounces of effort to drop the mag. And by practicing dragging your pinky between the trigger guard and the mag release lever while moving your hand forward, empty mags drop right into your hand in one sweeping motion.
