Excited but disappointed - Tactical Solutions Takedown Barrel/Stock Combo, Barrels - Rifle

Ok, FIRST, the finish on the TaCSol barrel is superb, the fiber optic sights are bright and sturdy, and the weight is crazy light. BUT, the crown of the barrel came new in box corroded, and the feed ramp that bisects the sleeve to liner is not lined up, creating a sharp lip on either side of the ramp profile. With a goal of light and more accurate barrel I got 1 out of three. The feeding of and exiting of the bullet from the barrel matter, and out of the box I’m disappointed. Both are fixable, and then I’ll be happy. SECOND, I knew the stock doesn’t come with QD inserts. Looking at how well it’s engineered for maximizing space usage, the quality, and the price point, it’s still disappointing. Again, that’s fixable and then I’ll be happy. FINALLY, overall I AM happy with this setup, and excited for when I can overcome the slight annoyances that would have made this a five star review.
