Tacsol 10/22 upgrade - Tactical Solutions X-Ring 10/22 Non-Threaded Barrel

My Ruger 10/22 Sporter from 1980 was accurate, reliable and boring! It was scoped with a Weaver 4x and ran well, but was in need of a facelift... Part of that facelift and update was the addition on a new new bull style target barrel. I checked available options and went for the TacSol X-Ring Non-threaded barrel. Non-threaded, since NY is not suppressor friendly, so there was no need for the treaded version (although that's now all that's offered by TacSol...)
Mated with the Magpul X-22 stock, the barrel was a perfect fit on the 10/22 receiver. All that was needed to instal it on the receiver was a minute or two of very fine grit emory paper on the barrel for a secure fit.
Preliminary sighting in at 25 yards yielded less that half inch groups, despite a bit of wind and a gritty standard trigger!
Let's not forget that the price from OP was terrific and their shipping was outstanding!
