Installation instructions were not included- this might help - Tacticool22 Ruger 10/22 Extended Magazine Release Lever

Tools needed: bamboo skewer, drill, dremel, 000 fine grit sandpaper, well.
1. use the bamboo skewer to remove the pin near the trigger
2. remove existing release and insert the Tacticool22
3. try to reinsert pin for 20 minutes. It will not fit.
4. using the drill, enlarge the pin hole in the Tacticool22 until it fits
5. try to move the lever, noting the screech it makes, not unlike the squeak of styrofoam
6. with the dremel smooth down both sides of the Tacticool22, then give it a fine polish with the 000 sandpaper
7. attempt to move the lever now, noting that it squeaks like a door in a horror movie
8. work the lever back and forth, trying to get some kind of fluidity, until you lose the hammer pin somewhere in the garage
9. look for the hammer pin as you descend into the madness of night
9. throw your now useless gun into the well
10. you're done!
