Good quality but wrong rear mount for vanguard s2 - Talley 930734 Low Rings & Base Set for Weatherby Vanguard

My wife got these for me and when I mounted them on my Weatherby Vanguard S2 the back mount hung over the back of the mounting area by about 1/8 inch. It did not seem to interfere with bolt operation but there was very, VERY little clearance for the bolt. I was concerned that when the bolt heated up there might actually be contact. (yes I tried turning the mount around but not only was that not going to work with my scope, but now it hung over the forward edge of the mounting area)I looked for other comments regarding this issue and found 2 reviews on Amazon that involved exactly my problem.
The mounts I was sent may have been manufactured for the S1 Vanguard. I have seen comments that seem to indicate the mounting holes on the S2 are in a slightly different position compared to the S1.
My wife contacted Talley Manufacturing and explained the situation. The gentleman she spoke with was very patient and polite. Within just a few days we had the correct mount. My scope is now on my new Weatherby Vanguard S2 and I'm very pleased with the fit and quality of the Talley mounts. Two thumbs up for Talley customer service. I will not hesitate to do business with Talley again.
