Great product. only lacked instructions - Talley 950734 Hi Rings & Base Set for Weatherby Vanguard

While you may think anyone even moderately experienced in mounting scopes would not need instructions, you would be wrong. There are of course four screws provided for mounting the bases to the rifle action, however, these screws are of two very slightly different lengths. This will cause a problem if you don't realize it, and it is very difficult to tell they are different lengths without comparing them carefully side by side. Anyway, customer service was quick to correct me, and everything went fine. The product quality is excellent, and my alignment bars indicated perfection in machining(The Weatherby Vanguard should get a nod here also for good hole alignment); its just that a nice orange "CAUTION" card indicating different length screws would be great. I'll still give them 5 stars. Please note: It is also possible that they typically come with instructions, and mine were just not there.
