Not a picatinny sized base... - Talley Picatinny Base Rail, Short Action, 20 MOA

I bought a base from this Talley company because it was a mid-priced base. Not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive. What a mistake. At first glance it looks great and solid. The issue comes when installing pic-rail style rings. The rings were loose and sloppy. The rings were from Trijicon, so those were the right size. Mounted the rings to my AR with mil-spec pic-rails and they were tight as can be. I measured this rail against the AR's pic-rail and it was just under 1/8" smaller than mil-spec! This rail needs to be pulled, deeply discounted (Nightforce's rail is $10 less) and removed as an inferior product. I've shopped at OpticsPlanet for a while now and I've never seen them carry anything this poor of quality at this price point.

Stay away! Not worth it at any price.
