Way better than leupold or redfield base and rings - Talley Lightweight Alloy Scope Mounts for Ruger/Savage/Stiller/Weatherby

I had been a fan of Leupold base and dovetail rings and single base for years. I never thought I could find better scope mounts. Then I saw a video on YouTube about custom long range rifles and they used the Talley rings. The Leupold single base and rings uses very old technology developed in the 1960s and 70s. The single piece based has windage adjustments on the rear ring. Why? Because back then the scopes were limited to the amount of windage adjustments so the rear rings would make up the difference.

Well fast forward to 2018. The technology for scopes has advanced so much that the rear windage adjustment on the rear rings are no longer necessary. The scope has enough adjustment to make the old Leupold base obsolete.

I really like the very clean look of the rings that I have them on my Browning X-Bolt FLD and Remington 700 both in .30-06. I haven't yet decided to swap out the Leupold base and rings for my Ruger 10/22.
