Inexpensive fix - TANDEMKROSS Fire Starter Titanium Firing Pin for Ruger

My Mark Iv hunter has about 10,000 rounds thru it and recently started giving me some ftf malfunctions. I chalked it up to poor quality control by the ammo manufacturers at first. Just to be sure, I swapped out the firing pin from my Mark ii and when I didn’t have my now usual 1 out of 20 failure to fire issues I decided to replace the factory firing pin with the Tandomkross. Two minute swap.
I took my new firing pin equipped Ruger to the range and fired about 200 rounds of assorted CCI, Federal, Aquila, Winchester, and Remington golden bullets with zero malfunctions. I don’t know how durable the titanium pin will be but it works like a dream so far. Comparing the rim of the spent cartridges the new firing pin delivers a slightly deeper and noticeably wider impression into the brass.
