The 42 version is ridiculously wide!! The 43, 43x, and 48 version is great. It just barely sticks out on those pistols and that's all I wanted and what I thought I was going to get. The 42 version sticks out wider and is thicker than the 43, 43x, 48 version...??? Just weird... At first I thought they were just selling the same plate for all four slides. But no, the 42 version is unique and HUGE...? I googled it and yes that is the way Vickers makes them. If I'd have seen the picture of it mounted on the 42 beforehand I wouldn't have bought this.
I"m gonna get a file and make it smaller. Might end up ruining it and throwing away my 20 bucks? But It's just too wide for what I'm wanting it for.
Now I could see it being worthwhile if you had arthritis or poor grip strength?
