Rob G's Review of Tapco Intrafuse AR Front Sight Tool and Colored Front Sight Set Combo

When I ordered the Tapco Colored Front Sight Set I was a little skeptical, but I needed to at least try to improve the visibility of the front sight. I replaced the the front sight post on my FN15 Military Collector M4 and the difference was immediate. I can now easily differentiate between the front and rear sights. The results were instantaneous, before I made the sight post change I had to rely heavily on my reflex sight praying my battery wouldn't die.

Now with the Tapco kit I have full confidence in my BUIS and I will be replacing a couple other sight posts on a few of my other ARs.

As always Optics Planet Customer Service was Top Notch. That's why OP is always my first choice when looking for accessories for my pistols and rifles.
Pros:
  • Fit and finish
  • visibility
  • ease in installation
  • Choice of Sight Post Colors
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Replacing factory sight post to increase contrast between front and rear sights
