A great scope for the $$
I bought two of these scopes about four years ago. I didn't have much experience with scopes then, so I didn't have anything to compare them to. Over the years I've tried a number of scopes, and have come to appreciate these Tasco scopes. While other similar priced scopes have broken, these Tasco scopes are still working great, and I don't baby them. The image is sharp bright and clear from edge to edge. The build of the scopes does not seem quite as bulletproof as some of the more expensive scopes, but as I said, these have never broken so far, so I should not complain.
The longer I've h...

Great little scope mounted on a rugar 10/22 heavy barrel and does what is suppose too.
Price was right and mount and sight in were just what you would expect. Tasco may not be the best but for the price I will continue to use and buy them. Started out in Fairbanks, Alaska and one of the best stories is seeing some ones prize Weatherby with Ziess or other high end scope just get smashed while hunting or transport. With these Tasco scopes at the price they charge I don't expect anyone would flinch if it got jumped on by a baggage handler. The Weatherby was in a scabard on the wing strut of supercub and while in flight just slipped out and OH NO gone.
Pros:
- Clear optics
Cons:
- Point of impact changes as power magnification goes up
Best Used for:
- Most any thing from 22 cal up to 30-06

Tasco world class scope
This is a great scope for the price! Easy to mount and simple to zero in. The mildot feature is awsome, and easy to acquire your target quickly. I mounted this scope on my bolt action 30/30, and had no issues with the action at all. Stays focused clear and sharp, and easy to adjust. Buy one

Great scope for the price
My poor experience with other people's Tasco scopes in the past left me cold for this brand. After reading other recent reviews I had to give it a try. It's not a Leupold or a Swarovski but it will do fine on my grandson's .22. It was the first scope that I have mounted in years that the crosshairs were zeroed.

Excellent scope, at any price !!
I have this scope mounted on my 788 Rem. in 6mm Rem. It has been on there without a single problem for quite some time now, & I am still impressed with the clarity, & durability !! Many people scoff at my choice of the Tasco, . . . . that is, . . . . . Right up till we get settled in at the shooting bench, & they see the results & the adjustment repeatability. I've found none better, for three times the money, & I think neither will you !!!

Great scope for the price
This is a great scope for the price. Clear and crisp image. I haven't got any complaints with this scope. I own several different brands of optics and have paid a lot more money for scopes that were not appreciably better than this one. I have mounted mine on a Ruger 10/22 and consider it an excellent combination. Optics Planet offers great prices and a huge selection. I am a happy customer and plan to return to Optics Planet anytime I'm in need for outdoor equipment.

Good quality for a bargain price ...
A lot of people view tasco as a second rate optics company .... But I can honestly say they've given me and my family no problems at a lower price .... I switched the tasco out for a leupold and it has way outperformed the leupold ...

Fine Scope for a FN-FAL
I've had the silver model of this scope for many years on my .22 Savage bolt action. I use this for shooting grouse lit in tree branches. It is a very durable and has held up in the wet woods of the Pacific Northwest. Having bought an FN-FAL 308 it was a natural to mount the mil-dot version scope on it.
Pros: Inexpensive and Durable
