Placed these rings on a Marlin 25MN .22Mag; however the entire ring and scope assembly would gradually shift forward in the grooved receiver from the recoil because the rings didn't get enough "bite" on the 3/8" dovetail. I even torqued the screws to the point of near breakage in an attempt to get a grip. IF... these rings will hold fast to the receiver, they are VERY GOOD for the price. They will provide more scope clearance for BIG bell Objectives than Redfield's X-high rings, which I was told the opposite by an OpticsPlanet rep. and very disappointed to discover otherwise after receipt of my order.
Pros: simple, solid design, easy to install
Cons: will not grip all 3/8" grooved receivers, base screw utilizes a straight screw driver head design instead of a torx or allen head design.
