Hog sleigher's Review of Tasco World Class 3-9x40mm 30/30 Reticle WA39X40N Rifle Scope
I have two of the Tasco World Class scopes and am very happy with both. Most of my rifles have Leupold or burris scopes but I needed a scope for a rifle that the second cheap ($200) VX1 went bad on and I'm done with Leupolds so called cheap scopes. I'm not bashing them as a whole but their low end scopes are not worth over about $50. If you are thinking of buying a Leupold VX 1 or 2 don't waste your money. The Tasco is all around a better scope in every way. The quality of this scope rivals a lot of $300 scopes. It doesn't compare to my Zeiss conquest or my Leupold VX6 but the VX6 cost 28 times as much! I have several 20+ year old Tasco scopes that have seen a lot of use and abuse and still hold a zero well so I hope this new one will too. My other Tasco World Class does. It was very easy to get sighted in and tracked very well. I mounted it on an old Remington 30.06 using all Leupold steel hardware and believe it or not had it good to go at 25 yards in 5 shots! Fine tuned it with 2 more shots @ 100 and waiting on deer season now! If your on a budget or have way too many guns to buy high end glass for all of them I highly recommend this scope. The clairity of the glass is not at all what you'd expect on a $50 scope, more like $200-$300.
