the original mag for my 709 slim had a binding problem on insertion, the replacement didn't and made it possible for me to figure out what was going on. somebady who looked at it before I bought it must have tried to jam it in and created a small burr on the back rail, once i filed it off everything worked great with either one. Feeds clean, added a Pearce pinkey rest as well and its better than good, it's great.
Pros:
- accepts pearce extensions
Cons:
- can bind if burred or bent
