Great? yes; perfect? no! - Lightstar MiniStar5 LED Upgrade for Maglite (C&D Cell)

Turns a ho-hum lo-tech Maglite into a shock proof, better than new flamethrower. Great battery life with alkaline batteries. The bad news: The TerraLux upgrade costs TWICE what it probably should. This particular LED bulb has a strange greenish-yellow color cast, probably due to the color of the tiny lens built into the LED unit. Pricey, but still performs well.
Pros: Easy Installation, long battery life, better illumination, shock-proof
Cons: Overpriced, cost more than the original flashlight!!
