Works great - Texsport Cast Iron 8 qt Dutch Oven w/o Legs

I purchased this item from a different vendor MANY years ago, my review will still be helpful. I've used this extensively on top of a wood burning stove at my deer lease. Your heat source may be different. Season a whole chicken, add some liquid (chicken broth/can of soup, etc.), some taters, carrots, veggies, etc.. Put on stove and then go do an evening hunt. Come back to a warm cabin that smells fantastic and grab some awesome, already cooked chow. If lucky, tomorrow's meal will be venison in the cast iron! Works beautifully. Does require some work to clean. I just measured mine and 12" foil liners are now on order. Should fix the only problem...cleanup (minus 1 star). Very durable item. It is heavy especially as my arthritis gets worse. Be cautious. Overall, a good item and worth every penny. I recommend adding aluminum/disposable liners to your order to make cleanup simple. That will add that 5th star back!
